Job Description

To achieve this, we will continue to evolve our Investment proposition. Developing new fund solutions tailored for all segments of clients, from those who want us to do it for them, through to those who are confident enough to take on a do-it-yourself approach. Supported by a range of simple to use digital tools and services, such as Portfolio Healthcheck and Portfolio Builder capabilities, which will transform how clients engage with their investments. All of this will be underpinned by our expanding in-house investment expertise, covering portfolio and fund management, governance, controls, research, monitoring and analytics, especially focused on ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) criteria. By joining the team you’ll be working across a range of initiatives that will deliver value for our clients, colleagues and shareholders.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the roadmap and backlog: effectively prioritise opportunities from a range of inputs, understand and prioritise this work so your team is always working on the most impactful initiative.
• Translate these problems/opportunities into tangible customer problems, through research and regular interaction with customers; define and frame those problems for the team
• Work directly with your team daily to identify innovative solutions to solve these problems
• Scope these solutions to their smallest coherent state to deliver to customers as early as you can
• Ensure that the product has the most chance of success by addressing the key product risks early, value, usability, feasibility, and viability.
• Constantly evaluate if your solutions have solved the customer problem and delivered on the business opportunity through quantitative and qualitative measures.
• Lead and motivate a team of people to do their best work

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience in a Product Manager role
• Experience working in a cross-functional product team with design and engineering experts
• Technically minded and have experience managing software products and navigating difficult technical trade-offs
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
• Experience of using both quantitative and qualitative inputs to make informed product decisions and deliver meaningful insights
