Responsibilities:

• Establish, evolve and align the ongoing brand strategy and positioning for Instagram and future north star strategy in partnership with the company brand team.
• Collaborate with our internal insights team and external partners to design and analyze research.
• Lead in partnership with our design and content teams the ongoing development, refinement and global implementation of the Instagram brand identity system.
• Collaborate with cross functional leads to refine the 2022 strategy and represent the brand in the planning process.
• Lead by example, become an expert on Instagram’s brand, products, audience and north star vision.
• Drive and apply strategy across diverse, concurrent campaigns and partnerships.
• Partner with product and design leadership to drive the integration of a holistic brand strategy.
• Lead and be the brand evangelist, influencing company leadership and cross-functional teams, ensuring brand strategy is reflected in work and activities.
• Understand and contextualize technological and market trends and audience behavior to inform strategy and creative development.
• Capture and bring to life human insights that champion our community to inform creative briefs.
• Deliver creative briefings, collaborating with and supporting creative teams throughout the process.

Requirements:

• Experience in entrepreneurial, nimble and fast-paced environments that are ever changing.
• Knowledge with global brand strategy leadership/stewardship working & collaborating with international teams.
• Proven track record of connecting product technology brands with human connection/emotional benefits.
• Experience working both in-house and with creative agency teams.
• Tech sector background (product and UX acumen/understanding).
