Position Title: Insider Threat Manager

Job Description:

Whilst we sit in an established government department, the team structure and ethos is dynamic and agile, more akin to a modern tech start-up. We are pioneering new ways of delivering classified technology services across government, and we’re having fun doing it.

Responsibilities:

• Implement security measures in a way that is proportionate to the risk.
• Minimise the likelihood of existing employees becoming a security concern.
• Reduce the risk of insider activity by protecting the organisation’s assets and, where necessary carry out investigations and/or provide evidence of malicious activity.
• Provide frequent situational awareness updates to the Security Group and wider Rosa community for all ongoing areas of concern or interest derived from threat intelligence feeds both internal and external.
• Update, own, advise on mitigation and effectively communicate areas of threat arising from social engineering and / or malicious targeted attack campaigns.
• Work closely with the CPNI.

Requirements:

• Analytical problem-solving skills
• A keen ability to identify trends and patterns in data
• Organisational and cross-functional communications skills to disseminate and present findings to key stakeholders
• Familiarity with risk scoring and threat analysis tools
• Experience with Data Loss Prevention (DLP) security controls
