They are passionate about ensuring that IKEA has a life long connection with their customers by always considering their needs, who is approachable, friendly and a real problem solver.

This role is varied with no two days being the same, one minute you could be on checkouts or self scan checkout attendant the next minute you could be meeting and greeting our customers or maybe queue management, hosting, trolleys or customer support.

Responsibilities:

• You work together with colleagues in other functions to improve the customer experience.
• You build loyalty by listening to our customers & using knowledge of both the IKEA product range & retail in order to offer informed solutions & resolve issues to ensure our customers have an amazing shopping experience.
• You find solutions to support customers either in the returns department or whilst hosting the customer at the store entrance or check out line.
• You works with daily and weekly service targets to drive service delivery and provide an efficient and accurate checkout experience in the store.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of MS Excel & ability to use other MS Office Apps
• A finance-related degree/or studying towards an accounting qualification
• Knowledge of accounting and financial reporting rules, standards, and manuals along with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
• Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with stakeholders in a virtual environment
• Min. 2 years of experience in tax accounting
• Good understanding of tax accounting, statutory and regulatory reporting as well as knowledge of how to provide support in an auditing process
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
