Position Title: Senior Supplier Performance Manager

Job Description

Working as part of a team and reporting to the International Service Manager, the post holder will have specific responsibility for the management of services and processes provided by suppliers into HMPO. They will successfully manage HMPO/supplier relationships, changes to our services and processes, ensuring compliance of services and processes and liaising with internal HMPO stakeholders to monitor/develop/improve services and processes provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as single point of contact for internal HMPO stakeholders for business change, issue escalation, service development, project liaison, escalated FOI/MP enquiries, etc.
  • Ensure adequate and professional support is available for supplier management activity at all times.
  • Ensure that accurate plans, risk and issues registers are in place for services and processes provided by suppliers.
  • Manage the transition of implemented commercial arrangements into ‘Business as Usual’ environment.
  • Professional Leadership – Responsible for actively providing support and professional development for self and team.
  • Ensure suppliers are managed proactively and collaboratively in compliance with the principles of Intelligent Customer Function.
  • Manage supplier impacts from project outcomes into business as usual, liaising with projects on impact & mitigation activity, brokering and supporting project/supplier contact/negotiation on impacts and implementation, etc.
  • Providing support and guidance to senior colleagues on supplier activity and issues.
  • Lead, organise, develop and manage staff within their hierarchy.
  • Ensure value-for-money in management of all supplier delivery activities.
