We currently have exciting, flexible opportunities for Warehouse Operatives to join our growing depot team. We can offer Day shift or Night Shifts and a choice of full-time, part-time or weekend shift work. You choose. You could work with us seasonally for a fixed term or maybe continue your career in a permanent role? Let’s talk and agree what works best.

Responsibilities:

• Our depots process anything from 40,000 to 100,000 parcels in a shift. But don’t worry, you won’t be tackling them alone! Team work will be key and there’ll be some smart kit to help. You’ll use hand-held terminals (easier than a smartphone we think), pump-trucks (once you’re trained) and work with clever conveyor systems that deliver parcels to you. You’ll then sort them into “collars” for smaller areas and postcodes.
• Our full-time contracts are 40hrs per week, either working exclusively days/nights or twilight, including some weekend shifts. We’ll make sure you know your rota in advance.
• Flexible and part-time hours are also available.
• Our Warehouse Operatives are responsible for the loading and unloading of vehicles, plus the sorting and scanning of parcels into cages. Therefore, you must be physically fit and comfortable using safe, manual-handling techniques.
• The job isn’t always easy. At times, you’ll have to deal with large volumes of parcels. But you’ll be given space to get the work done, thinking quickly to hit moving targets.
