As a Warehouse Operative you’ll join a motivated delivery team at an exciting time of acceleration for the business.

Responsibilities:

• Our Warehouse Operatives are responsible for various warehouse activities: loading and unloading of vehicles, sorting and scanning parcels and moving pallets.
• You must be physically fit and comfortable using safe, manual-handling techniques.Our Warrington hub processes around 250,000 parcels in a shift.
• But don’t worry, you won’t be tackling them alone! Team-work will be key and there’ll be some smart kit to help.
• You’ll use hand-held terminals (HHT’s), pump-trucks (once you’re trained) and work with clever conveyor system that takes our parcels around the warehouse.
• At times, you’ll have to deal with large volumes of parcels.
• But you’ll be given space to get the work done, thinking quickly to hit moving targets.

Requirements:

• Physical fitness
• Ability to comply with company and health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of a team – previous warehouse experience would be an advantage but not essential
