Job Description

At GB Railfreight Ltd department, a vacancy has arisen for – Head of Commercial Financial and Planning with our finance department.

Responsibilities:

  • You will assist the Finance Director and Finance Controller in preparing, consolidating & analysing the medium to long term financial & strategic plan of the organisation.
  • Supported by a team of 6 you will manage the reporting & insight into the company’s commercial performance
  • Ownership of the company budgeting & forecast process

Requirements:

  • Able to influence all levels of Stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Ability to communicate & influence non-financial decision makers
  • Advance excel & modelling skills
  • Technically and up to date competent accountant
  • Highly organised, methodical, able to multi-task successfully and work on your own initiative

About GB Railfreight

GBRf’s Train Managers are in charge of our fleet of 100 locomotives and over 1,000 wagons, transporting goods for customers including E.ON, Network Rail, EDF Energy, Sibelco, Merrill Lynch, Tarmac, Drax and Crossrail Ltd.
