Job Description:

A Halfords Autocentre Assistant Manager is a real team player. Technically skilled and focused on delivering a first class customer experience, you will already have experience as an Assistant Manager, Workshop Controller or Senior Vehicle Technician. Your skilled support to our team of Technicians will give you the chance to use your technical ability, and you’ll also spend time with our customers, delivering a great customer-first experience face to face in our busy Autocentre.

Responsibilities:

• Checking, monitoring and progression of invoices.
• Using the HR SAP system to check data and consolidating monthly.
• Co-ordinating face to face and virtual training events including booking venues, accommodation, travel and attendance.
• Schedule and administrate training sessions on the HUB (Learning Management System) including booking sessions, sending invites, recording attendance and supporting colleagues with technical queries.
• Dealing with phone and email enquiries from our Stores, Autocentres, Support Centre and external providers within given SLA’s.
• Maintaining database information on Excel spreadsheets and producing standard reports in an accurate and timely way.
• Production and distribution of training materials and correspondence to support training activities.
• Organisation and diary management for the People Development Team.
