Job Description:

The role of the Head of Commercial Finance is a key leadership role within the Commercial Finance function and within the wider GSTTFT leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• working with the wider Commercial team to provide the financial nous to navigate new business opportunities
• support the commercial strategy of the Commercial team through a strong financial function
• provide innovative ideas and approaches that constantly challenge the Trust on its traditional approaches to financial management in its broadest sense, provided they comply with the
• statutory requirements of the Trust and its regulatory framework
  think outside the box and use the challenges of the Public Sector to the businesses advantage
  to assess and advise the business on the risk and opportunity of a venture from a financial point of view ;
• take on bench marking, long term financial modelling, business cases etc

Requirements:

• some Public Sector experience preferable
• strong commercial business experience ; someone who has worked with a growing/developing
• business that required modelling/risk analysis/commercial development etc
• working in a senior leadership role within finance
• working in a development business
• ability to work across matrix of senior people
• working in a private business leading a finance function
