Position Title: Finance Analyst

Location: Cambridge, UK

Job Description

Arriva UK Bus are looking to engage a passionate and experienced Finance Analyst in Wakefield, reporting to the Finance Business Partner. The primary focus will be to take responsibility reporting on financial performance and providing insightful analysis of key data to help drive strategic decisions. The role is partly hybrid

Responsibilities:

  • Key variance analysis of monthly accounts
  • Assist the annual forecasting/budgeting process
  • Applying technical/system expertise to aide process improvement
  • Assist with other financial projects
  • Support with annual Audit queries
  • Ideally working towards their professional qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
  • Successful candidate should be driven, reliable and trustworthy
  • Experience of handling financial and non-financial data sets
  • Competent in Excel

Requirements:

  • Experience in report building
  • Comfortable working to simultaneous deadlines
  • Comfortable at presenting at all levels
