Job Description

Ferguson is the largest wholesale distributor of residential and commercial plumbing supplies and pipe, valves and fittings in the U.S. The company is also a major distributor of HVAC equipment, fire protection systems, waterworks and industrial products and services. Ferguson and its subsidiaries serve customers in all 50 states, Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Caribbean.

Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous improvement through the business by studying, interpreting, and synthesizing actionable insights
• Develop and use analytical tools such as Power Platforms (Power Bi,) GA360, Measured.com (incrementality testing), Funnel.IO, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, and more
• Collaborate with functional experts to prioritize and deliver valuable solutions that meet or exceed company’s growth objectives
• Compile performance data and publish periodic reports
• Use high-level analytical ability and creativity to analyze complex/new situations
• Anticipate potential problems and future trends, uncover new opportunities to grow, assess strategies that impact the business, and identify risks while developing and implementing plans and solutions to business unit problems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and 2+ Years of Business Analytics experience, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience, required
• Experience with business intelligence reporting tools such as Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio, Azure, GA360, Power Platforms / Power BI or similar software, required
• Experience providing analytical support to Search Engine Marketing or Merchandising teams, a plus!
• Experience with incrementality testing, preferred
