Position Title:Facility Maintenance Manager

Job Description:
It is the mission of Anaheim Convention Center(ACC) to provide unparalleled service in a world class venue. Under minimal supervision, the department seeks a motivated and highly-collaborative Facility Maintenance Manager to manage, supervise, and coordinate the activities and operations of assigned construction maintenance, HVAC and electrical crews and programs within the Convention Center Division; to coordinate assigned activities with other divisions, outside agencies and the general public; and to provide highly responsible and complex staff assistance to the Convention Center Operations Manager.
Candidates must have six years of progressive and responsible building maintenance or construction maintenance experience including two years of administrative and supervisory experience. Candidates must possess knowledge and experience in government procurement protocol and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Current LEED Accredited Professional
- Familiarity with fire life safety systems
- Utility management experience
- Management of large facility over 1 million square feet with multiple central plant experience
- Familiarity with facility automation systems
- Ability to manage government project contracts to specification code
Requirements:
- Manage projects from the initiation, planning, execution, control, to closing of projects; ensure that specifications reflect need and that work meets specifications
- Manage and participate in the development and administration of assigned program budget; forecast additional funds needed for staffing, equipment, materials, and supplies; direct the monitoring of and approve expenditures; recommend adjustments as necessary.
- Participate in the projection, planning, procurement, execution, monitoring, and updating of the 5-year Capital Improvement Plan
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of service delivery methods and procedures; assess and monitor work load, administrative and support systems; identify opportunities for improvement and review with the Convention Center Operations Manager; implement improvements.
