Job Description

Working as a Flood and Coastal Risk Management Advisor in the Partnerships and Strategic Overview Team, you will be working at the very heart of this organisation, helping to protect people and property from flooding.

Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating flood risk assessments.
  • Leading on our response to proposed development and planning applications.
  • Leading on our assessments of flood risk activity permit applications to determine their impact on flood risk.
  • Influencing Local Plans.

Requirements:

  • We work with all authorities and deliverers to specify, plan, fund and create assets to achieve outcomes, including influencing the location and flood management of new developments through spatial planning and flood risk activity permitting.
