Job Description:

You will reinforce our engineering skills and resilience through mentoring and development of staff to achieve professional membership. Through our national network of Catchment Engineers, you’ll contribute to national strategy and support continuous improvement, sharing learning and experience and providing peer support.

Requirements:

• Able to tell us how you’ll balance flood risk and environment priorities and bring learning from elsewhere in the industry.
• A Chartered Civil Engineer. Previous experience in flood risk and/or asset management would be helpful, but a keen interest is acceptable to.
• Educated to degree level in an engineering field or able to demonstrate your comparable technical know-how in a relevant subject.
• Using your experience to manage health, safety and well-being of yourself and others.
• Adept at communicating/engaging with others to achieve results, ranging from technical/non-technical staff, internal parties to our external framework suppliers.
