Position Title: Security Education and Awareness Project Manager

Job Description
The post holder will help drive engagement with key stakeholders across the Department to ensure that SEA has high visibility and buy in across all directorates.
The post holder will manage the Programme Management Office (PMO) function and be part of an energetic and supportive team working across geographic and organisational boundaries to help keep DWP protected against security and resilience risks to our services, information, premises, customers and colleagues.
The post holder will work in a diverse role which will support the ongoing design and delivery of reporting and governance structures, both internally, through the management and implementation of financial and management reports, supporting both work stream leads and programme office as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Lead in the development and monitoring of business processes, helping to drive efficiencies and optimise plans to achieve objectives.
- Keep track of and communicate the team’s progress against agreed plans, adjusting as necessary and escalating risks in delivery to senior managers.
- Communicating accurate project status regularly, and at the appropriate level. Including accurate and timely reports of SEA deliverables to senior leaders and various Governance Boards.
- Tracking forecasts, spending, and invoicing regularly and accurately to ensure delivery of SEA projects within cost and time constraints.
- Manage the new work request process and assess priority against behaviour probability and impact.
- Challenge targeted security behaviours and apply industry intelligence.
- Oversee brief creation to agreed timescales.
- Lead, manage and direct stakeholder relationships across multiple teams to ensure programme objectives and delivery of outcomes are met.
- Develop, create and maintain programme tools and techniques so that they can be used as standard on the team.
- Ensuring the SEA Risk Register details current SEA programme risks and issues, with agreed mitigations, implemented and monitored.
Requirements:
- Understanding of interpreting information and data to provide meaningful management and performance information to help inform decision-making.
- Track record of delivering multiple priorities at pace to tight deadlines.
- An understanding of working with contractors, suppliers and other third parties.
- Experience in gathering customer requirements and customer journey mapping.
- Marketing experience or exposure in delivering engaging digital contents
