Responsibilities:

• Leading colleagues to analyse research data and synthesise clear and actionable findings, including working closely with analytics colleagues to create a rich picture of user behaviour
• Setting standards for user research quality, output and impact
• Mentoring, managing and guiding User Researchers to assure and improve research practice
• Contributing to the wider cross-government user research community including presenting at meetups and writing blog posts
• Procuring, managing and advising on appropriate contracts for the provision of necessary research related services e.g. recruitment of research participants

Requirements:

• With strong communication and interpersonal skills, you will proactively engage and build relationships with service teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and to align research activities to provide solutions to complex design problems and to influence decision making.
• We are looking for someone with a sound understanding of user research and experience overseeing the development and delivery of research plans and programmes.
