The recent Spending Review prioritises the UK as a centre of excellence for Science and Technology which has resulted in very significant additional investment leading to exciting opportunities within Dstl.

Responsibilities:

• Together with other forward-thinking organisations, both in academia and in industry around the country and overseas, we conduct research and analysis, supporting Defence and Security strategy, force development and UK Operations now and into the future.
• Here, you’ll undertake research and analysis to support and evolve UK Defence and Security to protect the UK and its allies. It means applying your skills and knowledge to advance the tools, techniques and tradecraft we use.

Requirements:

• Exploration Division helps our stakeholders discover and exploit things no one has done before, and pinpoints futuristic high-impact ideas with the greatest potential. Such ideas could be “over the horizon” technologies, next generation concepts or existing systems that could be adapted for Defence and Security strategy and policy.
