Position Title: Legal Counse

Job Description:

We are seeking a part time Legal Counsel to support and advise the legal team of the publicly quoted business with operations in the UK and ROI and ensure legal compliance across all departments and territories. You will be providing legal assistance to the Domino’s Pizza Group plc group companies, carrying out a general commercial role and providing legal insights and advice to leadership teams on a wide range of legal matters.

Responsibilities:

  • Support head of procurement in supplier negotiations relating to overhead items.
  • Key finance support in the development of ESG reporting.
  • Manage and review all aspects of the management accounts processes for fixed assets to ensure a robust and clean close each month in line with the current timetable, including capitalization of ongoing projects and ensuring depreciation has been posted correctly.
  • Provide financial support to the transformation function.
  • Responsible for management accounts reporting and business partnering for overhead functions in Dominos.
  • Delivery of insightful monthly management reports for all business levels ensuring accurate and timely periodic reporting of capex and depreciation to budget, forecast etc. and a full understanding of periodic variances and assessment of all risks and opportunities.
  • Manage the monthly investment committee processes, including organising the investment committee meetings, consolidation and distribution of the investment committee pack ahead of the meeting.
  • Supporting the Snr FP&A manager with budgets and forecast to improve and develop financial models.
  • Ensure Post Implementation Reviews are carried out, and presented to the investment committee, and any learnings are worked into future business cases.
  • Manage the annual budget & five-year plan process for capex to deliver a robust financial plan in line with company objectives and ensure alignment across all business areas.
  • Develop the business case templates as required to meet the changing needs of the business.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record with dealing and presenting to senior stakeholders within the business
  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
  • The desire to challenge existing processes and implement positive change with a hands-on style
  • Understanding of investment appraisal techniques
  • Excellent Excel spreadsheet and analytical skills
  • Experience with Dynamics AX and management reporting tools will be highly beneficial
  • Experience of producing and presenting financial information to finance and non-finance stakeholders
