Position Title: Knowledge Manager

Job Description:

We have recently deployed a new single HR shared service provider Capgemini with a fully digital colleague experience platform. Capgemini now support onboarding, employee administration, learning administration, reward & recognition administration, payroll processing and HR analytics. As we continue to focus on digitalizing HR processes, services and improving experience e2e we are also optimizing and stabilizing the new services delivered to Colleagues and need to ensure we set up strong governance and controls to maintain an accurate and up to date knowledge base (People Place) and keep colleagues engaged and informed.
The knowledge manager will play a key role in stabilizing and optimizing this model, influencing policy development, developing self-service content, a channels strategy and comms plan and ensuring we embed our EVP across all colleague interactions working closely with other HR CoEs and Comms teams at DC.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner Cap Gemini and be the conduit into the business to capture, organise, update and maintain Content and Knowledge Articles on People Place that support the Digital Colleague Experience across the Hire to Retire employee lifecycle including, Policies, Guides, Hints and Tips and Service information
  • Design approaches to engagement and communication with colleagues
  • Develop Content Plan and architecture that is intuitive and colleague-centered
  • Partner Capgemini in evolving the content on People Place to meet the needs of colleagues
  • Drive and manage colleague engagement with People Place
  • Working with CG’s Zendesk experts to develop the content management strategy
  • Proactively manage headline and promoted articles
  • Collaborate closely with the People Services & Cap Gemini knowledge and process experts
  • Source, write and edit content that communicates effectively with colleagues

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience of working as part of an HR service delivery team – internal customer and colleague focussed
  • Excellent communication skills including Digital, written and verbal with understanding of Branding and Tone of Voice principles
  • Working with subject matter experts to understand topics in detail and able to translate into simple communications, articles and instructions for wide range of audiences
  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience of content management systems
  • Understanding of people policy development, employment law and compliance and employee engagement an advantage
