Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Worcestershire Children First. We are looking to recruit a Team Manager to manage our successful Outreach Service. The role will involve managing a team of Outreach Personal Advisors and requires a highly skilled and experienced person who is able to manage supported living placements to achieve the best possible outcomes for young people.

Responsibilities:

• You will need an understanding of and a commitment to working directly with children and young people who have a range of needs including emotional, behavioural and communication.
• Experience of working with young people and of supervising staff is essential.
• We are looking for someone who can be creative and flexible whilst maintaining a high level of professional responsibility and accountability. You will need to have managerial and leadership qualities, with a good understanding of team dynamics. Partnership working is key within the role and you must be able to work closely with other agencies and professionals.
• An understanding of quality assurance and its importance in developing services is also important.
