Position Title: Product Development Manager

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Planning, organising and overseeing production trials
• Supporting manufacturing and design activities by developing prototypes for products in development
• Work with Product Development Director to develop product strategy including prioritising development opportunities across different markets, launching new products and
• developing solutions
• Make improvements or modifications to current products
• Determining product specifications across the product lifecycle
• Investigating and testing new equipment in line with testing standards
• Gains business approval for a production start based on specific success criteria. This will be evidenced that the prototype has met the critical success criteria

Requirements:

• Relevant engineering and/or design qualification or similar experience
• Proven and significant experience of Product Development gained within the professional coffee industry
• Proven track record working with manufacturing 3rd parties
• Understanding Industrial design methodologies and solutions
• Financial acumen with an ability to assess profitability of proposals
• Good problem-solving skills and will proactively recommend solutions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement; quick at developing trusted working relationships across business boundaries and with senior management
