Job Description

Responsibilities:

* produce regular risk reports and analysis managing the process in terms of making sure data risks are reviewed and up to date
* perform assurance reviews to ensure data risk exposure is minimised
* work collaboratively with our data protection and information security teams to explore Co-op’s broader data risk approach, aligning ways of working to boost consistency and avoid duplication
* facilitate working groups and one-to-one meetings to link in with colleagues across the business and promote best practice and compliance around data risk and control
* support in the implementation of data risk and control framework and track risk exposure
* work with various types of data and develop processes and procedures relating to policy adherence and data risk across our Co-op

Requirements:

* the ability to communicate effectively and engage with colleagues at different levels of the business, including executive
* a talent for building positive relationships with colleagues across the business
* great IT skills, particularly MS Office 365
* an understanding of risk management and associated frameworks
* analytical experience and a solution-driven mind-set, with the ability to work with large data sets and translate it into meaningful insight
* experience facilitating meetings and forums, and presenting in front of diverse audiences
