Responsibilities:

• Identify and recommend test equipment, production equipment, fixturing, or tooling needed to meet product specifications.
• Train team members on utilization of test equipment and procedures.
• Evaluate test requirements, based on specifications, standard procedures, and internal/external requirements.
• Keep abreast of new developments in the fields of engineering design, methods, and applications.
• Prepare reports of testing data, evaluate, and provide recommendations based on findings. Lead or contribute input for improvements.
• Implement and document tests.
• Develop test plans and procedures.
• May assist with the request for quote process, as related to needs for the testing function.

Requirements:

• Travel may be necessary locally and internationally, based on position.\
• Entry level or early career engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field specific to the position.
• Team player who is self-motivated, and has ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and leadership staff.
• High level of service skills.
• Well-developed problem analysis and problem solving techniques.
• Proficiency with a computer, including use of Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Candidate will need to be comfortable spending time in the field operating and supporting ag machinery, investigating and documenting Ag use cases and interacting with test engineers and test customers.
