Responsibilities:

• Monitor the current product cost – identify risk and prioritise and lead cost reduction projects
• Breaking down the target to system and part level.
• Tracking the cost evolution through the program and driving recovery actions
• Providing technical product cost estimate for complete vehicle at beginning of a new development
• Brainstorming ideas and evaluation of different options to drive the team to find optimal solutions (bearing in mind other factors such as manufacturing and customer requirements)
• Detailed cost estimates to support purchasing negotiations (piece cost and tooling)

Requirements:

• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Self-motivated, independently able to manage workload
• Can-do attitude, team player and ability to work with minimal supervision, taking lead roles where necessary.
• Language requirements: Fluent English, Italian could be a plus.
• Project management experience
• Ability to make assumptions and estimates from preliminary information as well as accurate detailed tracking and analysis.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Finance, Cost Management or Engineering
• Good verbal & written communication skills at all levels from shop-floor to senior management
• Education: Bachelor Degree in Technical or Financial discipline.
