Responsibilities:

•  Conduct design analysis on components, vehicle systems and/or software architectures to verify new Requirements/Specifications can be achieved. This can include investigating HW I/O, wire harnessing, controller software, and mechanical subsystems. This could include defining resource requirements, schedule to meet project objectives, as well as participation in design reviews, Safety Analysis and DFMEAs.
• Support Product Validation engineers during their Functional and Performance testing phase.
•  Support the definition of harness and pipes architecture.
• Support field test engineer and product support engineer in the trouble-shooting of products and systems when necessary
•  Support system Root Cause Analysis and troubleshooting.
•  Assist in the creation of data and documentation for major GPD milestones review presentations with management.

Requirements:

•  Fluent English.
•  Knowledge of CAN network protocol and of SAE J1939 in particular.
• Knowledge of System Requirements tools (e.g. Polarion, Doors…).
• Bachelor’s degree (i.e. BSC) in Mechatronic/Electronic Engineering.
• Willing to Travel (5%)
•  Problem Solving experience (e.g. Root Cause Analysis methods).
• Knowledge of CAN network tools (i.e. Canalyzer, Canoe, Etas INCA).
•  Good communication and personal organization/control skills.
•  2+ years of experience in Electronic Systems development.
