Job Description:

Under direction of the manager of the Land Bank, manages a portfolio of transactions related to LIHTC projects, large scale residential and commercial construction, and utility requests. Provides support to redevelopment advisors on land bank processes that include research and resolution of issues related to property transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with city requirements for disposition and intake of property. Assists with analysis and revision of land bank processes, procedures and documents to continuously improve operations. Serves as liaison to City departments, boards, committees and outside agencies as needed. The Land Bank Administrator serves as a contact to facilitate automation updates, and documentation of updates to departmental policies and manuals. Prepares departmental reports related to land bank operations. Other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities:

• Must be able to plan and lay out of new distribution lines and substations, developing equipment specifications and evaluating RFP’s for engineering construction projects.
• Must be AutoCAD/GIS literate and willing to provide training to junior level personnel.
• Must be able to perform distribution substation system planning studies.
• Must have valid driver’s license and PE registration in the State of Ohio required.
• Must be familiar with NESC and NEC codes and have the ability to work in a high voltage substation environment.
• The studies may include demand and energy requirement forecast, fault duty calculations, short circuit analysis, relay device coordination, equipment and conductor sizing and others as required.
• Must be able to write work orders for large commercial accounts.
• Under general supervision, must be able to independently handle diverse electrical engineering duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or closely related field from an ABET accredited four year college or university (or equivalent as determined by the Ohio Board of Registration of
• Professional Engineering and Surveyors) is required; a Master’s Degree is preferred.
• Three years of full time paid experience in Civil Engineering, GIS, and AutoCAD is required, five years is preferred.
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of Ohio or if PE license is in another state, you must have applied for an Ohio PE license at the time of hire and obtain it within four months of the date of hire.
• A High School Diploma or GED is required.
• A valid State of Ohio Driver’s License is required.
