Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Drive and embed our modernisation and harmonisation initiatives in preparation for our major future technology implementation programme which is in the pipeline.
• Work closely with our shared service provider, leading our newly established HR Operations team to create a consistent, responsive and efficient operational HR and resourcing service for the organisation.
• Strengthen and lead a team of strategic HR business partners to anticipate and meet the varied and challenging priorities for people, organisation and culture change across the business.

Requirements:

• CIPD membership (Chartered or Fellow) and/or equivalent relevant professional experience.
• Experience in complex public sector/government/ large scale /unionised organisational setting desirable.
• Significant experience in establishing, leading and developing a strategic HR Business Partnering team.
• Expertise in HR organisation, policies and processes including significant experience in complex HR case work.
• Able to demonstrate a track record of improving the performance of HR Operations, Resourcing and Shared Services functions and integrating teams together following significant change.
• University degree/Post Graduate Masters degree in HR or Organisation Development or equivalent relevant professional experience.
