Job Description

To succeed in this role, we require an experienced HR professional, who is able to lead a complex business as usual agenda in a large-scale organisation, with the ability to set and deliver a strategic transformational vision. You will need to be confident operating as a member of an executive or senior leadership team, and able to communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Successful senior stakeholder management in a matrixed organisation with a reputation as a trusted adviser, ability to engage with colleagues at all levels and surface and tackle complex issues, and a track record of building a network of professional relationships.
• Also able to communicate effectively through high standards of written briefing.
• Experience of delivering people focused transformational change, with an ability to prioritise work, taking into account present and future goals of the department, and take responsibility for outcomes and results.
• With an ability to energise and engage HR colleagues around the transformation ahead
• Leadership of a high-performing HR function in a large organisation, and driving a collaborative and inclusive culture. Track record as a HR leader of a large, complex organisation, with experience of managing significant budgets.
• Board or senior executive level experience, with the confidence to represent the functional agenda with senior leaders. Discerns when to take a broader, strategic perspective and when to get ‘into the detail’ to really understand a situation or problem.
• Experience of leading a complex BAU agenda, alongside a programme of change, with a proven track record of implementing significant successful programmes to drive cultural change, including industrial relations aspects.
