Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Working closely with Westminster’s communities you’ll develop projects and identify funding to increase energy efficiency, address fuel poverty and deal with other sustainability issues. Fostering positive relationships with residents will be essential to success.
• A key challenge will be to review our procurement and delivery mechanism and assess whether contracted arrangements can be transferred into this area.
•  You’ll also provide strategic input and guidance on sustainability issues for capital projects.

Requirements:

• Success depends on strong commercial leadership combined empathy for residents.
• You’re likely to have held a senior role within a large multi-disciplinary organisation, where you will have had responsibility for significant budgets and resources, as well as teams.
• Project and programme management experience is essential, and you will have proven skills in procurement and supplier relationship management.
• You’ll be equipped to analyse financial and performance information with a focus on opportunities for business improvement. The ability to operate within a complex political environment, where the views of service users are critical, is essential.
