We understand that some are unable to be vaccinated for a variety of reasons, including medical and religious/spiritual reasons. Should you be offered employment with the City of Portland, there is an exception process that provides for an exception and reasonable accommodation based on a qualified medical condition or religious/spiritual reason.
Responsibilities:
- Provide reports.
- Financial analysis.
- Analyze and propose solutions to problems without direct supervisory involvement.
- Be significantly relied upon for accuracy, completeness, and timeliness by City management for decision making purposes.
- May also provide lead direction and training to office support and other accounting staff.
- Functions on general instructions and guidelines without close daily supervision.
- Perform accounting functions.
Requirements:
- Ability to successfully pass an in-depth background investigation.
- Knowledge and ability to use MS Office 365, Adobe, Windows Operating Systems including Windows 10 and/or similar software
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, and maintain effective work relationships with teammates.
- Must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 per City/State mandate or have an approved exception by date of hire.
- Knowledge and experience using PCs, laptops, and peripherals, such as printers and scanners.
- Ability to interact and communicate both written and verbal, with diverse customers in person and remotely via phone.
- Ability to work regularly scheduled hours between 7:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M.
