Position Title: PROJECT MANAGER

Job Description:

Responsibilities:
- Enters and records customer information and dockage payments into marina software program; transports EOD paperwork between marina locations
- May perform routine maintenance on Dockmaster’s boat including the use of small power tools, washing, waxing and fueling
- Oversees the execution of dockage payments
- Ensures proper care and safety to boating customers and their property while securing and releasing dock lines during the arrival and departure from marina dock
- Answers phone and maintains office records
- Records transient dockage reservations, prepares reports and assigns berths or moorings to boat owners
- Assigns berths, makes dockage reservations, executes dockage agreements and collects dockage payments
- Monitors radio in absence of dock master; responds to inquiries from boaters, base station, dock masters and Marine patrol
- Operates a City vehicle and boat to patrol marine facilities to clear debris, prevent loitering, theft, vandalism and other harmful acts; reports such acts to proper authorities
- Keeps the marina dock clear of debris, and removes and disposes of refuse, waste oil and other debris in accordance with environmental and OSHA regulations
- Performs related work as required
- Assists Dockmaster with special City events such as powerboat race, boat parade, etc.
Requirements:
- Experience in accounting principals relative to project budgeting, estimating, and project cost controls
- Experience in government contracts procurement and management of vertical construction projects
- Possession of a current License as a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida as
- Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineer
- Certified Construction Manager or Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) or
- Degree in Construction Management
- Experience with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction methodologies
- Experience in management all phases of vertical construction projects
- LEED accreditation
- Possession of a current License as a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Florida or as a
- Certified Construction Manager or Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP).
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, Adobe, MS Projects, AutoCAD
- Experience in public sector construction project management
