Job Description

The Financial Senior Control Officer will be responsible for compiling and submitting Chelmsford’s annual housing benefit subsidy claim and any other financial returns required from a combined Revenues and Benefits service, therefore substantial current practical experience is necessary. The role also involves managing an officer responsible for internal financial reconciliations.

Responsibilities:

• Revenues and Benefits work in a flexible manner and employees are able to work at home for the majority of their working week as long as a suitable workspace and equipment is available.
