Responsibilities: 

• Providing strategic advice and intelligence to ensure services are efficiently and effectively commissioned: ensuring compliance with legislative and policy requirements.
• Developing and implementing commissioning processes, ensuring robust, efficient and effective service models are in place and delivered and delivered in line with national guidance and good practice standards.
• Developing evidence based and innovative cost-effective service specifications that take into account the diverse needs of the population of Liverpool and deliver high quality outcomes for service users and carers.
• Ensuring service users, carers, partner agencies and other stakeholders are engaged appropriately in commissioning activities and that work is carried out within the principles of good partnership working.
