Responsibilities:

  • Instills and drives a culture of high performing delivery teams
  • Drives delivery in accordance to relevant program governance standards; partners with Agile Transformation leadership to define best practices and operating model for delivering strategic programs within an agile way of working including the process, practices and tooling
  • Uses Agile KPIs to identify and address any delivery performance issues
  • Accountable for all delivery risk; issue and change management and resolution related to assigned strategic programs
  • Accountable for delivery outcomes against the quarterly commitments made to key business stakeholders through leading delivery of prioritised strategic
  • Roadmap programs
  • Responsible for identifying and delivering opportunities for cost savings; monitoring progress against budget and business cases in conjunction with the
  • Portfolio Demand and Planning team
  • Leads program centric synchronisation meetings across tribes, squads and key cross functional stakeholders to provide delivery progress updates against agreed business delivery milestones
  • Summarises program delivery objectives and publishes them for visibility and transparency
  • Accountable for dependency management cross tribe and major external stakeholder
  • Collaborates with tribe Agile Delivery leadership and Portfolio Demand management on tribe capacity planning to meet program delivery milestones

Requirement:

  • Stakeholder Management: Able to establish and maintain internal and external senior stakeholder relationships and facilities mutually beneficial negotiations to develop solutions, ensuring they meet current and emerging business strategic priorities
  • Industry standard qualifications in Agile and Program Leadership (e.g. APM, MSP, Leading SAFe, SPC,) and lean practices (e.g. Lean Six-Sigma)
  • Be Agile: Solid understanding of lean Agile delivery practices with awareness of major frameworks (i.e. SAFe, LeSS, Spotify). Ability to lead collaborative
  • Agile ways of working and effectively manage changing Roadmap priorities
  • Program Leadership: Highly experienced at leading large scale, multi-£m, complex technical delivery programs within a cross functional setting
  • Transformation: Be able to manage operational model changes in collaboration with the Agile Transformation Snr Manager. Driving adoption through
  • Agile Delivery Managers and Scrum masters into their respective Tribes / in line with business needs of customer centric, high quality and low cost product delivery
  • Problem Solving: Must be able lead and take ownership of proactively solving technical delivery escalations that are multiplatform wide, impacting multiple services or cross Tribes/Business areas
