Responsibilities:

Downloading and distribution of IPC reporting.
Follow up and supervise improvements identified.
Performing the administration of the IPCs for the Supply Planning Team
Updating dashboards.
55 special tasks and reports run at various times of the month ranging from simple downloads to more sophisticated reporting and advancing issues for resolutions.
Daily administrative duties and reporting tasks
Compiling the control’s documentation.
Shadowing G34 Leaf Supply Planner to upskill in readiness to move into G34 role as pipeline talent.
Some light planning activities including covering absences, Customer/supplier reporting.
CI initiatives.
Weekly meeting attendance with GLP and K & N partners.
Orders – completing invoice updates and system returns.

Requirements:

Leaf is a consolidated and mature business which is being demanded by a transformation due to evolving regulatory requirements in the combustible products, next generation products requiring new ways of working due to different specification for Leaf and new categories development (heating products, hybrids, tobacco liquid extracts, liquid nicotine derived from Leaf) and combustible product demanding higher quality and differentiation through Leaf.
BAT manufacturing footprint is evolving to the concept of one virtual factory which represents multifaceted manufacturing footprint, including the creation of manufacturing hubs which also demands blend sets to be supplied to the factories. To enable an agile Leaf Supply Chain which responds quickly for business requirements, GLP is required to adjust operating model and review processes in order to efficiently handle changes to support business dynamics. Ensuring that all processes have adequate Controls and that these IPCs are supervised.
As part of the Leaf Planning and Logistic organization, which is formed of Logistics and Analysis, Leaf Sourcing Planning and Leaf Supply Planning within the GLP organization, this role has been built within the Leaf Planning Function as part of the Operational Planning layer and is optimally there to support both the Supply Planning team in their administrative duties whilst also seeking opportunities for process improvement.
The role requires a strong base in continuous improvement to drive the organizational change required within the Leaf Planning Function in order to deliver balanced change and improved process control. The process improvement focuses on operational performance, ensuring that the vital actions are taken to reduce costs, improve performance & optimize the utilization of the company’s assets.
To support the function this role will take ownership of IPC reporting and administration and will look for opportunities to improve reporting capability and driving follow-up to improvement plans.
