Position Title:Helpdesk Advisor

Job Description:

As a Helpdesk Advisor, you’ll provide support to your fellow Learning and Development team members by handling learner-related queries for team members across Boots UK, Ireland and Opticians. You’ll also support learners working in care home businesses who have access to our learning content as part of the Boots Care Services offer. This is an opportunity to join the team in a full-time fixed-term position (March to July 2022), based from the Nottingham Support Office.

Responsibilities:

  •  You pay great attention to detail and take pride in the accuracy of your own work.
  • First and foremost, you’re a brilliant problem-solver; able to own and resolve issues independently to keep escalations to a minimum, naturally spotting better ways of doing things and adapting quickly to changing circumstances and priorities.
  •  You have a genuine care for other people (both team members and learners) and are really driven to understand them, their needs and how you can best help them; striving for first-time resolutions.
  •  Finally, you’re a strong team player; willing to pitch in and support your team members as needed.
  •  In terms of technical skills, you’re confident in the use of computers and are a pro at learning new systems quickly.
  •  You communicate brilliantly by phone, email and face-to-face and understand how to adapt your style to suit the situation.
