Job Description

We are a Humanities Specialist College which became an all through school in September 2012. We achieved IIP Gold in December 2013 and have also been awarded Teaching School Status. Responsibilities:

Waverley School is a friendly and welcoming all through school for pupils ages 4 -19, with a resource base for pupils with cognitive and learning difficulties. Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of teaching and student progress within a successful primary school and ideally previous leadership experience of a Primary phase. They will be expected to provide outstanding lessons to ensure excellence and achievement for all learners, with a true commitment to raising standards. You will need to have experience of using a variety of approaches to continually enhance teaching and learning of science throughout the school across the full age and ability range. You will also need to have excellent communication skills and the ability to forge strong working relationships within the Primary team and the Trust as a whole. We are looking for someone with the skills, abilities and drive to lead and direct team and make a real difference to the Primary Phase.
