Our growing Bridges and Structures BIM team are recruiting for a BIM Coordinator based from either our Bristol, Manchester, Glasgow, London Guildford or Birmingham offices.

Responsibilities:

• Work in collaboration with other design disciplines applying BIM solutions to ensure the integrity of the overall design
• Agree and implements project approach for collaboration with Global Design colleagues
• Oversee an agreed scope of BIM work and the operational workload of a project team including sub-contractors, ensuring BIM work is allocated appropriately and BIM resources are fully utilised
• Ensure compliance with Arcadis BIM standards and national BIM standards
• Deliver work that meet client and Arcadis requirements
• Provide technical advice to team members, to support them in their delivery on the project
• Manage the performance of BIM practitioners in the project team, identifying and ensuring the resolution of any issues
• Provide technical BIM leadership at a project level
• Manage the production of, and quality assure BIM deliverables to ensure that they meet or exceed client expectations as well as Arcadis requirements, and that they comply with national standards and codes of practice
• Help resolve complex modelling issues

Requirements:

• Carry out and record CPD necessary to maintain and enhance competence in own area of practice
• Undertake engineering work in a way that contributes to sustainable development. This could include an ability to operate and act responsibly, taking account of the need to progress environmental, social and economic outcomes simultaneously
• Use oral, written and electronic methods for the communication in English of technical and other information
• Work effectively with colleagues, clients, suppliers or the public, and be aware of the needs and concerns of others, especially where related to diversity and equality
• Deliver close compliance with Arcadis Integrated Management System requirements to support delivery of design and engineering projects
• Understand how to manage health, safety and welfare within own area of responsibility
