BBC Cymru Wales Operations is home to a creative and dynamic in-house Post Production facility operating across our bases in Central Square and Roath Lock Studios. We post produce a wide range of programmes for Public Service, BBC Studios and the Indie sector including Pro 14 and Premiership rugby, Crimewatch Live, Cardiff Singer of the Year, Casualty, Hayley Goes… and local output across all genres including live and fast turnaround programmes, and OBs.

The Planning, Booking and Scheduling team sit within BBC Wales Operations, managing the efficient assignment of staff and resources across a number of areas which include, but not limited to, Post Production, Graphics, Audio, Studio and OBs, TV Presentation, Technology, Sport, Digital & Marketing. The department operates in a highly competitive and fast changing market, relying on best use of staff and facilities, providing expertise and value for money.

We’re looking for a Post Production Co-ordinator to help schedule the staff and resources across Post Production, managing the flow of work through the facilities

Responsibilities:

• You will act as the post-production specialist and single point of contact for relevant productions, dealing with post production workflow queries, post production staff and facility schedules, post production deliverables and cost reports.
• You will have a good understanding of processes, workflows and deliverables in Post Production offering a detailed level of operational and technical advice to various parties.

Requirements:

• Our ideal candidates will be able to plan and manage post production schedules for a range of genres and to fit a variety of budgets, making best use of staff, freelancers and facilities to deliver projects to agreed deadlines.
• You’ll need excellent communication skills along with a detailed understanding of post production processes and workflows.
