Job Description

We produce over 2,500 hours of content per year, have offices in 22 markets globally, including six production bases in the UK and production bases and partnerships in a further nine countries around the world. In the UK, BBC Studios enables audiences to enjoy their favourite BBC programmes and brands outside the licence fee-funded window on alternative platforms, through a range of partnerships, and in multiple formats, from products and magazines to events and experiences.

Responsibilities:
- Provide support on specific commercial partnerships negotiations.
- Work closely with the CID/Brand Protection team to execute the strategic Right Management framework to deliver content pipelines for Social AVOD, partnering with Programming teams.
- Commercial content slate coordination with Programming and Delivery, working closely with the relevant teams to ensure timely delivery of information and assets to support specific commercial initiatives.
- Secure sales pitches and coordinate presentations.
- Sustain and develop Social AVOD customer profiling for full business use, capturing platforms’ priorities and product roadmaps that can help inform our joint business plans and KPIs across brands.
- Framework development for opportunity execution.
- Market and partners insights evaluation. Using data, trends and ROI analysis to provide recommendations and options to the business on priorities and potential opportunities for the short/mid and long term, leveraging our partner’s ecosystems.
- Collate projections and feedback from the business and accountable for preparing information to support decision making, including case studies and platforms/product best practices.
- Partner Vendor management for new commercial opportunities working closely with Delivery/Operations.
Support manager to deliver and track revenue across platforms.
Requirements:
- You will have a digital background, ideally from the TV industry, or wider media sphere. You have commercial development experience as this role will require maintaining and optimising existing and new commercial frameworks and processes.
- You are a proactive, collaborative team player, who is keen to grow their knowledge and develop their skills and look forward to playing an active role in the wider digital community at BBC Studios.
- As our Commercial Executive, Digital, you will have a deep understanding of digital platforms’ ecosystems such as Google, Facebook, Tik Tok, Snap…etc and emerging opportunities.
- You are a self-starter with the ability to see projects through to completion and you have experience working to tight deadline and managing stakeholder relationships.
