Position Title: HIE Intergration Lead

Job Description:
Barts Health NHS Trust is recruiting to this exciting technical role within the clinical systems software integration team.
Our HIE is the Cerner Health Information Exchange platform and is already in use for sharing clinical information across health and social care organisations in East London and beyond. We are looking for an integration software engineer to lead the development project to extend the scope and coverage of HIE to new organisations, new systems and information types.
Responsibilities:
- The role involves designing, building, and testing integration solutions typically using HL7 messaging as well as liaising with suppliers, technical colleagues and users across various organisations.
Requirements:
- The successful candidate will have a software development background and experience building solutions using an integration engine within a healthcare environment, preferably using InterSystems Ensemble / HealthShare
