Overview
Position Title: Project Manager
Company: Barts Health NHS Trust
Location: Belfast, UK
Job Description:
Critical care has played a pivotal role in response to the Covid pandemic; the North East London Critical Care Hub was established to work across the seven critical care departments in the three acute trusts in North East London, namely BHRUT, Barts Health and Homerton University Hospital. Funding has now been agreed to formally establish an Adult Critical Care Operational Delivery Network (ODN) which will replace the NEL Critical Care Hub.
ODNs are key enablers integrated across systems of care and support a collective focus on patient pathways, efficiency, quality and improvement. The ODNs develop and maintain the connections and relationships across their sector that are needed to support this.
There is now an exciting opportunity to come and join this team and shape the future of critical care in NEL. We are recruiting a Director and Project Manager to the ODN. Barts Health will formally host the ODN for North East London and be the employing organisation. The ODN will develop and support a collaborative network across our Trusts to deliver high quality Critical Care services to our local population.
Responsibilities:
- The post holder will be responsible for service planning to ensure the ODN is ready and responsive to future demand for critical care beds driven by winter pressures, major incidents and/or a pandemic.
- A major element of the role is to build operational intelligence and provide data analytics support to the network and other stakeholders.
- In addition, the post holder will lead on specific programmes that support the network.
Requirements:
- The candidate must have sound written and verbal communication skills.
- Also, must have a proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required.
- Experience with theatre/ambulatory settings is desirable but not essential as in-house training will be provided.
