Job Description:
The new Barts Heart Centre has brought together the services of some of the best cardiovascular experts in the country who will work together to create a single specialist centre for cardiovascular disease to cover all our local communities.
You will be joining us at an incredibly exciting time, as we realise a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to improve services for today’s patients and future generations and create a world class cardiovascular and ECMO service. We are also setting up a new Thoracic Robotics and Thoraco-Abdominal Aneurysm repair Services.
The development of a new centre has created vacancies for Band 5 Anaesthetic Practitioners with NMC and Anaesthetic training or HCPC registration. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is looking to work within a service covering seven cardiothoracic theatres, ten cardiac cath labs supporting electrophysiology and intervention cardiology and the nationally recognised Heart Attack Centre which serves North and East London.
Responsibilities:
- you will be responsible for delivering brand new developments into Millennium as well as working on enhancing existing functionality.
- You will also have responsibility for managing the Team’s development request queue via our call logging software.
Requirements:
- Although desirable, experience within the speciality is not essential, but an anaesthetic course is essential, once appointed we will build upon your specialist with the support of a mentor and the experienced multidisciplinary team.
