Job Description

As a Barclays Regional Security Manager, this is an exciting opportunity where you will be responsible for ensuring that all Physical Security standards are adhered to, whilst providing best in class physical security protection and support to Barclays’ people, premises and moveable assets, for their Area of Responsibility within the North UK Region. This will be the ideal role for someone ability to Contribute to the production of processes and procedures for physical security matters across Barclays.

Responsibilities:

• Supporting the smooth running of the function by organizational planning and management of key operational and control processes
• Contributing to the production of processes and procedures for physical security matters across Barclays
• Interpreting control requirements and wider business requests, analyze options and recommend actions
• Controlling the management of Capital Project, programme management and budgets for all projects and minor project works
• Using your knowledge to form part of the UK Physical Security Incident Management and Response capability, providing on-call expert advice and response where appropriate
• Supporting Barclays employees with current and relevant travel advice in AoR.
• Conducting and supporting a rolling programme of in-depth security risk assessments, primarily within their AoR, within an agreed timeframe
• Ensuring all assessments are written to a professional standard, Prioritization will be driven by business critical requirements and higher threat profile

Requirements:

• Experience working within the Barclays’ organization or a similarly complex Financial Sector organisational
• Structure, in a physical security & investigations specialist risk management role.
• Experience in site security assessments, business assurance, conformance and audits.
• Experience in managing and implementing physical security policies, standards and procedures to a wide and varied audience; including security risk strategies
