Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Developing steelwork training and assessment methodologies that meet individual apprentice, production and business needs
• Providing and monitoring the effective safeguarding, SHE, welfare and support arrangements for learners whilst operating in the Submarines Academy for Skills and Knowledge (SASK)
• Applying Right First Time Quality principles and adhering to processes that are delivered within all fabrication training activities
• Coaching, developing and inspiring learners to achieve their full potential and become autonomous employees
• Ensuring a Safety-First culture is embedded in all activities or courses delivered to employees & apprentices

Requirements:

• Training & Development qualifications L3 (desirable) or prepared to work towards
• Fully competent on standard Microsoft office packages
• Need to be able to obtain Enhanced DBS f or position
• Skilled time served individual with relevant occupational competence to a minimum of SVQ/NVQ 3 or equivalent, including academic qualifications (Steelwork)
