Position Title: Investigative Trainer

Job Description:

We are looking for a person who would like to be involved with the design and delivery of tailored training courses on both a local and national level, liaise with recognised authorities in specialist fields and has the skills to monitor and assess the development of others. Are you self-motivated and will you keep abreast of changes in legislation, force policy, and training techniques? If you have a genuine interest in others, we would like you to apply for this role.

Responsibilities:

• Planning, creating and delivering investigative training courses to ensure that all force training needs are met.
• Continually monitoring and assessing skills development of students, evaluating their performance and producing reports as required.
• Regularly reviewing course content using evaluation and feedback forms, implementing required changes for improvement of future training methods.
• Maintaining own knowledge of legislation, force policy, training techniques and topics, recording all information in an accessible and inclusive format to share with other trainers.
• Developing and maintaining close relationships with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate good practice and updating of knowledge base.

Requirements:

• Excellent written and verbal communicator.
• Investigative experience within a law enforcement environment
• Ability to make decisions.
• Adept at developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience of delivering presentations and/or training sessions.
