Job Description:

We’re looking for an Account Director to join the team that partners with some of the largest car retailers in the UK. Using your consultative approach, combined with your passion for data you will inspire, challenge, develop and grow your customers whilst playing key role in our Digital Retailing vision. You will carry out dealership visits, create workshops, implement new technology and products, attend board meetings, fix problems and uncover opportunities. Your resilient approach combined with your strategic account planning skills will allow you to build trusted partnerships and constructively challenge your customers to achieve long and short-term commercial objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Implementation of secure access and security enhancements
• Ensuring all infrastructure is written as reusable code for future use
• Capacity planning
• Troubleshooting performance issues and working with application squads to continuously improve application performance and availability
• Building systems that are designed to tolerate failure
• Optimization of our platform for maximum speed and scalability

Requirements:

• Able to engage and challenge our most technical customers, with the ability to understand an optimised digital retailing set up and the structural changes automotive retailers will need to make to achieve this.
• Experience working with large, b2b customers in a complex solution based sales role for digital or technology based products.
• Experience using Miller Heiman.
• Experience translating complex product features, data and insight into a compelling value proposition and sales stories.
• You will have experience influencing at a strategic level, encompassing senior management, board level and multi-stakeholder decision-making units.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand a client’s business needs and spot potential opportunity through the effective application of data and market insight.
• Experience using the Challenger sales model.
• Experience delivering engaging presentations/webinars/conferences to internal and external stakeholders and the wider industry.
• Experience working in the automotive industry
• You will be confident using account planning practices to set strategic direction, translate strategies into actionable plans, and deliver against challenging objectives across complex environments, engaging both internal and external stakeholders.
