Job Description

Reporting to the Head of New Trains, the TSA Contract Mobilisation Manager will be part of the broader New Trains Team working on the Class 810 Project. The TSA Contract Mobilisation Manager will work to ensure that EMR is mobilised to work with Hitachi Rail to deliver the Class 810 Train Services Agreement (810 TSA) contract

Responsibilities:

• Managing all aspects of the 810 TSA mobilisation against the requirements of the contract.
• Working with EMR Fleet and Operations to identify the future contract and performance management process requirements for the Class 810 fleet and ensuring these align with the TSA contract.
• Working with Hitachi Rail to ensure Spares, Special Tools, Maintenance Documentation, Resources, Training, Competency and other requirements are satisfactorily in place ahead of the arrival of the Class 810 Units.
• Mobilising EMR for management of the 810 TSA performance regime, warranty, change management, variation orders and additional contract services to ensure value for money and to minimise costs.
• Transferring management of the 810 TSA to the EMR Fleet Performance and Contracts team at the point of Provisional Acceptance of the last Class 810 Unit

Requirements:

• The idea candidate will have demonstrable experience of new train manufacture and introduction in the UK with a good understanding of TSA contracts.
•  You will have also have a good technical understanding of Modern Rolling Stock, including maintenance practices.
