Responsibilities:

• Calculation of Statutory payments including SSP, SMP, SPP
• Demonstrate behaviour in line with safety, health and environmental (SHE) standards and with the Group’s values.
• Processing of starters and leavers and other payroll amendments
• Ensure Unpaid Leave is recorded
• Calculation of enhanced holiday pay
• Participating in monthly finance meetings
• Issue of P45 to leavers
• Collation, checking and processing of employee timesheets
• Processing of expenses using Concur
• Ensure compliance with Pension Auto-Enrolment
• Year End payroll returns including P60s
• Administration and submission of data relating to benefits (including pension, health insurance, Bike 2 Work, childcare vouchers, SIP and SAYE) to external benefit providers
• within tight deadlines
• Assist in the creation and updating of Payroll Manual
• Assisting in the end-to-end processing of the UK payroll, including IR35 employees
• Adhoc administration duties supporting the wider finance team
• Ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining compliance with current legislation
• Ensuring compliance GDPR requirements at all times

Requirements:

• GCSE grade C/ Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English is required as a minimum
• Must not have already completed a Level 3 in Payroll Administration
• Strong numerical skills
• IT skills
• Be able to comply with confidentiality & GDPR regulations in line with company policies & guidance
• Understand the importance and implications of HRMC guidance and regulations
